My Story

I’ve been working in the communications field for over 25 years doing marketing from strategy to execution. I still love it because it’s about knowing what people want and need. My approach to a project is to analyze the audience to understand the best way to communicate to it, and then use the most appropriate technique and tone while highlighting the benefits desired by the audience.

Successfully writing for marketing communications is really a mix of knowledge about consumer behavior, psychology, and sociology. You need to know your audience.

Here are some facts about me:

• I’m a Massachusetts freelance copywriter, marketer, and editor who lives in Billerica.

• My experience includes working on the agency side of the business as well as the client side.

• My work history involves creating marketing strategies and developing integrated communication efforts utlizing digital marketing and traditional marketing with consistent brand messaging.

• I have extensive marketing knowledge and deep experience in several industries, including healthcare, mental health, legal, nonprofit, financial services, and book publishing.

• I’m an overachiever. I work very hard to produce great work for my clients. Whether you’re a big company or a small non-profit organization, your happiness is very important to me.

• I’m accomplished in communicating to various audiences, including retail customers, businesses, clinical staff, cancer patients and their families, elders and their loved ones, donors, parents, students, and children.

• I have an MBA in marketing from Bentley College and a BBA in marketing with a minor in psychology from UMASS Amherst.
